MEET JULIA

Provider

I am a pre-med student and have been sitting since the age of 13. I have cared for children in between the ages of 6 months and 14 years old and taught English to French children ages 8 to 14. I have cared for up to 6 children at a time. I love organizing fun activities, helping children with school work, and teaching them how to cook! I am a very organized person and I like helping with organization.

Other facts about me...I speak French and English fluently and I communicate fairly well in Spanish. In 2020, I  worked at a French bakery 6 days a week and assisted the cook for 8 hours per day. During my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, painting, cooking,  working out.

WHAT PARENTS SAY

"Julia lived with our family in Austin when she was displaced due to covid shutdowns fall of 2020 and early 2021. She provided part time care (sometimes full days if she was out of school). Our son was 7 years old and daughter was 1.5 years old. Julia's job duties included: cooked/prepared lunch and/or dinner for the kids, helped keep laundry going, cleaned up after the kids; kept kitchen area tidy, took kids on outings: walks to parks, walks in the neighborhood, visits to gardens and museums; played with the kids, helped organize kids’ toys and clothing , and transport to/from various locations. Julia absolutely reliable in terms of being at work on time, following through on the agreed upon schedule especially with the baby she stayed to her nap time and night time schedules. She is very good at keeping the kids entertained and happy and making awesome food for the kids. She’s very communicative, ensures things are cleaned up and my kids adore her!!!!! She speaks French - if any family is working to immerse their kids in French, she can absolutely do that! I would absolutely recommend Julia to other parents I know." - Heather S.

"We knew Julia when we lived in the south of France  ( Lourmarin-Provence ) and she started to work as the babysitter with our children in  2016. She has been always creative, positive  and involved. Then she was their  English teacher for Hadrien ( 9) and Clara (6) and our last son Gauthier (2). She proposed a lot of activities, and plays. For example, she made a small movie with the children, with a scenario/plot. She cooked some desserts with them. Our children spent a lot of good time with Julia! Of course, we miss Julia! We recommend to parents, without reserve, to work  with Julia! (I'm sorry for my English!) " - Anne Laure T.
