MEET PAIGE

My name is Paige Hartnett and I recently moved to Colorado from the suburbs of Chicago. I have over 10 years of diverse experience working with children, including 5 years of experience working with infants and toddlers. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Education where I majored as an Intervention Specialist with Special Education. I work in this field during the week, and am available for evening and weekend bookings.
My most recent experience includes working a season with the Early Education Center at Winter Park Resorts, CO. I worked in the infant room with babies aged 4 months to 12 months, as well as the toddler room and occasionally babies as young as 8 weeks of age. I aided in developing and implementing age appropriate curriculums to foster intellectual and physical development in each room. I have professional work experience as an in-home nanny for preschool age children, and worked as a nanny for a family with a 2 year old child. I provided light house keeping such as sanitizing play areas, children's laundry, making children's beds, and cleaning up play areas. I provided meals, and age appropriate activities such as short field trips to the park, nature center, and reading circles at the library.
I have unique experience working on a cruise ship in youth programming with Royal Caribbean Cruises. I helped to facilitate active programming that integrated art, science, and games to provide a safe and entertaining environment. I worked in the Royal Babies and Tots program, and our ratios were 1:4 and the infants ranged from 6-36 months. My duties included adhering to nap schedules, providing formula, breast milk or appropriate food for different developmental stages. I engaged the babies in age-appropriate activities and sing along time.
More about me...in my free time I am an avid traveler and love to go hiking. In the winter I have attempted to work on my ski skills and found a new hobby I love - snow shoeing. When not outside I enjoy game nights with my friends and try not to get too competitive. Some of my favorites include Bananagrams and Codenames.

"Paige was with the our ski resort daycare and education center for the season, 4 months from December of 2021 to the first week of April 2022. Paige was primarily in the Preschool classroom but also assisted in the Toddler and Infant Room as needed. She would create and implement lesson plans, assist in implementing lesson plans that other teachers created, help the children recognize their emotions and teach them how to handle those emotions. She would also do lots of fun things with the children as well such as take them on nature walks and on field trips. Paige cared for children in ages ranging from 8 weeks to 5 years. She was definitely reliable and arriving to work on time. Paige was a great team player and was able to move from classroom to classroom with ease. She also had a positive and upbeat attitude as well as many great ideas to keep the children entertained and learning. She is such a people person and has such fun ideas and activities that she can bring to your children!
